These animals are grass-fed for the bulk of their lives but in the week leading up to their processing, they are moved to another part of the farm and fed grain to add some fat. This creates a nice marbling effect and well-balanced flavor profile. A must-have for ribeyes.

These animals are 100% grass-fed, meaning they are NOT ever fed grain. During the winter, they may be fed hay instead of grass. This creates a leaner beef.
