Turkey Brine Mix
Margaret was repulsed by the amount of sodium in traditional pantry staples such as canned/powdered soup mixes, spice mixes, and meal kits. Easy dinner shouldn’t have to mean an unhealthy dinner so Margaret set out to make her own pantry staples with clean ingredients and low sodium. Soon after, she realized that it wasn’t very hard to make them gluten-free too!

Ingredients: sugar, salt, black peppercorns, bay leaves, garlic
Directions: Fill a large container, preferably a clean cooler with Brine Mix and up to 1 1/2 gal. of cold water. Add turkey, making sure it is covered. Must be kept at 40 F or lower for 8-12 hrs.
